New Station Opens in Plover
Station is first in Portage Co. for Renew

PLOVER, WI: A new Renew Fuel Station began operations on August 19, 2008 at 2201 Plover Road (Hwy. B) in Plover. The unattended fuel station next to Speedy Clean Car Wash features fuels for all gasoline vehicles including, Unleaded Plus for use in all gasoline vehicles as well as E85 and E20 (with 85% and 20% ethanol respectively) for flexible fuel vehicles.
The station marks the first location for Renew in Portage County. “We’ve had a lot of requests to open a station in the central part of the state,” explains Jay Stoflet, Director of Retailing for Renew, “When the opportunity arose to partner with the car wash, we knew it was a good time to expand into a growing community like Plover.”
The new station, located just blocks from I-39, marks the 15th location for Renew in the state and is only the second station in the Stevens Point area to offer E85. “Now that we have one location in the area, plans are underway to review other potential locations in Central Wisconsin to optimize our coverage for customers and distribution.”
